Classical Chinese Arts
As part of the Lunar New Year celebration, the Courthouse Docket explores Classical Chinese Arts. Take part in an exploration of China's rich cultural heritage. Traditional Chinese culture is the only one in the world to have a continuous recorded history of 5,000 years.
During the presentation, join a discussion led by Mr. NanSu, New Tang Dynasty TV new commentator, on the rebirth of traditional Chinese culture and its impact today.
The presentation will feature the enchanting music of the erhu, a traditional Chinese two-stringed version of the violin, performed by Ms. Mei Xuan, an erhu virtuoso.
A monthly series of lectures and performances held in the History Museum's Courtroom A. The 2011 Courthouse Docket Series is sponsored by Cypress Lawn Heritage Foundation.
