Encore Books on the Square

February Specials

Let's go to the movies! In honor of the Academy Awards, the bookstore will feature the movies in books and video. There will also be a special display for Valentine's Day.

Bookstore

Located on the ground floor of the San Mateo County History Museum, Encore Books on the Square sells gently used books. Find books by your favorite fiction authors in categories from mystery to science fiction. The store has a large collection of non-fiction books in categories such as California and the West, cooking and biographies.

Donate Books
Encore Books on the Square accepts donations of fiction and non-fiction (hardcovers and paperbacks), children's books, cookbooks, videos, DVDs, CDs and books on tape. The bookstore does not accept library discards, encyclopedias, magazines, textbooks and records.
