Celebrate the Year of the Dragon!
Celebrate the Year of the Dragon! The History Museum is joining Redwood City's second Lunar New Year celebration.
In the History Museum
11 am-4 pm: Join us for different crafts and demonstrations including making lucky red envelopes, creating paper lanterns and learning how to use chopsticks.
2 pm: The Courthouse Docket continues with a presentation of Chinese Arts and Culture. Mr. Nan-Su will give a short presetnation. Then, listen to the Erhu, a traditional Chinese two-stringed version of the violin, performed by Ms. Mei Xuan.
The Courhouse Docket is sponsored by Cypress Lawn. On Courthouse Square
Redwood City has organized performances on Courthouse Square including Lion Dances, Red Panda Acrobats, Taiko Drums, Vietnamese Musicians and Martial Arts. Click here for a listing of performances.
