Annual Events

Each year, the San Mateo County Historical Association holds education events at each of its sites that allow visitors to step into the past.

Old Woodside Store Day

The Woodside Storekeepers invite visitors to experience life in the 1880s. This free family day will focus on the history of the Woodside Store and the redwood logging activities of the area.

Held the first Sunday in May.

Rancho Day Fiesta

The Sanchez Adobe Docents invite visitors to experience life in the 1840s. This family day will focus on what life was like on a rancho in Mexican California.

Held the third Saturday in September.

Victorian Days

During Victorian Days at the History Museum, discover what life was like in the 1800s through craft activities, a reenactment and displays from local historical societies.

Held in August or September.
