Free and Reduced Admission Programs
The San Mateo County History Museum participates in the following free and reduced admission programs.
Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 2,000 museums across America to offer free admission to the nation’s service members, including National Guard and Reserve, and their families from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
The North American Reciprocal Museum (NARM) Association is one of the largest reciprocal programs in the world with over 700 member institutions! NARM members receive free admission at the History Museum. San Mateo County Historical Association members at the Family Membership Level and above are a part of NARM.
Time Travelers is a reciprocal membership network for historical sites and museums throughout the United States. Members receive free admission at the History Museum. San Mateo County Historical Association members at the Family Membership Level and above are a part of Time Travelers.
The History Museum also offers free admission to the following:
- Members of the American Alliance of Museums (AAM).
- Employees of our Leadership Council businesses.
