Victorian Days at the Old Courthouse

The Victorian era was named for Queen Victoria who reigned in Great Britain from 1837 to 1901. During Victorian Days at the Old Courthouse, discover what life was like in the 1800s through craft activities, a tea and a fashion show.

Enjoy Victorian activities from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.:

  • Decorate a tea cup.
  • Design a hat to wear to a afternoon party.
  • Discover the Victorian code of cards.
  • And more favorite crafts from yesteryear.

A Victorian Tea
Sittings at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.

In Courtroom A, attend a Victorian tea. Enjoy tea, finger sandwiches and scones as you listen to Victorian millionaires gossip about their neighbors. The tea will end with a short Victorian fashion show featuring clothing from the Millie Collection, an education collection of vintage clothing. RSVP for the tea at 650.299.0104. The tea is $8 for adults, $5 for children (ages 4-12). Each tea lasts about 45 minutes.
