The outreach program provides speakers who bring history to the classroom or to community groups with reproductions of historical artifacts, photographs and other items.
Native American
Dolores Callagy explores the lifeways of the Ohlone during a classroom visit. A professional singer, she has enjoyed Native American chants since a childhood visit to Yosemite. Her presentation features a compilation of Native American chants.
John C. Fremont
Robert Strode brings to life John C. Fremont. Discover how this soldier and politician influenced the Gold Rush and the role he played in making California the 31st state.
Timothy Guy Phelps
In the role of Senator Timothy Guy Phelps, Tom Brennan recounts the founding of San Mateo County. Find out how fixed elections, thugs and a vigilante committee all played a part in the county's beginnings.

• Native American and Fremont geared to third and fourth grade. Phelps geared for eighth grade. Presentations can also be planned for an adult audience for community presentations.
