The San Mateo County Historical Association is working to expand our collection to accommodate new exhibits for the History Museum.  Ideally, we try to collect objects which were made or used by people in San Mateo County.  We are specifically looking for the following items:

• • Photographs of San Mateo County in the 20th Century
• • Sports memorabilia from San Mateo County during the 20th Century
• • Blacksmith tools (cone mandrel, swage block)
• • Mexican-American War memorabilia ca. 1846-1848 (swords, guns, uniforms, ammunition, tack)
• • World War I and World War II memorabilia
• • Radios and televisions of the 20th century
• • Automobile memorabilia from the 1900s through the 1970s
